Snowboarding
As well as alpine and cross country skiing, Gaustablikk caters for the snowboard enthuisiast with a special slope with half- pipe and plenty of jumps. Snowboards can be arranged beforehand for those who would like to snowboard all week or hired for a small additonal cost.
Cross country
You will find 80 Km of marked and prepared cross-country tracks at Gaustablikk. Some runs are in beautiful mountain terrain, and some are in woodland with the shortest track at 2 km, and the longest track at 23 km. If you haven't tried cross-country skiing before it is easy to learn and doesn't need to be any more energetic than walking. Gliding on lightweight skis through wonderful snow-covered scenery, far from crowds and noise, is a totally different experience from downhill skiing.
Our six day cross-country ski package includes hire of all ski equipment and is available for adults and children.
